Iakovos Potamianos – Art and Light
This book deals with light in art. It analyzes works of art mainly in regards to light and the ways in which light has been handled by various artists.
It relates light to the sensation and meaning that emerges from a work of art and discusses approaches to the lighting of an artwork with subtlety and respect to its content. It is addressed to artists and students of artistic lighting and constitutes a first attempt toward this direction in Greece.
